The last part is important, but it would take me too long to explain why you can't just use the scheduler and why you have to press that button occasionally.ītw, if you Shift + Left Mouse Click on "Stats", you will see a bunch of FSRS stats, one of them is "Burden", an estimate of how many reviews you have to do daily.Ģ) You can configure "maximumInterval": 36500, in the scheduler code. You can do your best to go through all of those cards, sometimes using Postpone, or, instead, you can just do your reviews normally and occasionally click "Reschedule cards reviewed in the last n days" in Tools > FSRS4Anki Helper. 1) The initial backlog after rescheduling is a big problem, unfortunately. I've installed the TrueRetentionGraph add-on to see how my retention is trending, as I know it will take some time to see if this scheduling change bears fruit, but I'm concerned that it will wreak havoc on my cards before I notice it's too late □ Is FSRS4 is still worth using if my retention was already high (80-85%)? My understanding is yes, as I'd be able to hit the same retention numbers with fewer reviews. If my gut says I won't be able to remember a card after this interval, should I still just trust the algorithm? Or maybe I should pause and submit a bug report. When reviewing, many of my cards have a "Good" interval of 3+ years (and an "Easy" interval of 20+ years), though I only press Again and Good.Should I "reschedule all cards" across my decks, even just once? I did it for one deck but had to postpone the majority of my cards because my daily reviews for that deck jumped from 300 to 1300. ![]() Here's the advice/questions I'm curious about for current FSRS4 users: However, after a few days of reviews, I'm concerned that I may be undoing a lot of the work that my previous reviews have solidified. I went ahead with the process, generated parameters based on my reviews and set a desired retention. I recently read about the benefits of FSRS4 and have done some digging, coming to the conclusion that it's worth making the switch. I've used Anki nearly every day in the past ~2 years, with 350k reviews and 25k cards.
